A hold the sword's general with Armor

This Qin-era terra-cotta statue was unearthed at the No.1 pit. It is a tall and bold figure wearing battle armour resembling fish scales and occasionally some of them even have hats on. The hands would have held a sword. In the terra-cotta camp it is the tallest class of warrior. The sculptor has put great emphasis on the inspiring looks of the general, wishing to show the superior leadership qualities that would have made this a proud officer.
